Generic Keflex is a cheaper version of Keflex, a very effective and trusted antibiotic medicine. Generic and brand name Keflex have identical active ingredient Cephalexin, and Cephalexin will produce the same therapeutic effect as the brand name drug. Generic medications can usually be purchased for a fraction of the cost of their branded counterparts. Because generic medications are often much cheaper than their branded counterparts, many people choose buying generic medications online, and many insurance companies actually require that they be used. The combination of generic substitutions and reference pricing would give patients an incentive to choose the cheapest product, while helping them avoid unnecessary costs.
Cephalexin (Generic Keflex) is a cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat or prevent certain types of infections caused by the germs called bacteria.
Cephalexin will not work for colds, flu, or other viral infections.
Keflex (Keftab) may cause an upset stomach and you may find that giving it with food may prevent this.
Take tablets at regular intervals and at the same times each day, exactly as your child's doctor or pharmacist tells you. Pick times that are easy for you so that you do not miss doses.
It may take several days for you to start feeling better after starting this medicine. It may also take several further days before the full benefit is seen.
Make sure you always have enough cephalexin to finish the prescribed course.
Keep cephalexin tablets at room temperature in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
Is it safe for you to take Cephalexin?
